I’m the former Deputy Art Director at The New Yorker, former Chief Creative Officer at MIT Technology Review, and currently the founding Art Director at NEO.LIFE, a new media company from the co-founder of Wired. My work has been recognized by The Webby Awards, the Digiday Awards, The Society of Publication Designers, the American Society of Magazine Editors, and more.

I also write and direct animated films. My short, Fired on Mars, received a Vimeo Staff Pick and awards from The New York Television Film Festival, the Ottawa International Animation Festival, and more.

I’ve worked for major companies and startups, hired and managed teams, art directed a whole lot of photo shoots, illustrations, and infographics, overseen site builds big and small (and designed some of my own), designed and re-designed magazines, created brand identities, produced, written, and directed award-winning content, and built many relationships within the creative community.

Want to work with me? Please get in touch.

“Nick is an extraordinarily talented graphic designer, art director, project manager, and manager of people. During our time together, I witnessed his very rare and raw talent and business acumen.”
